Seeing people walk through and experience the expanded campus was a moving reminder of how thoughtful inclusive design that serves people’s unique needs can help strengthen a community. Throughout the event, we heard stories of how these new spaces will expand Villa’s ability to support people of all ages with special needs, from children to seniors.
As Villa client parent Irene Albeck beautifully shared with Pasadena Now, “The Occupational Therapy Clinic, half gym and new classrooms will carry on the legacy and spirit that is always in the walls of Villa Esperanza. The metamorphosis of the building on Villa Street will be in my mind a tribute to those parents who dared to dream so long ago.”
