In a recent piece for Wallpaper*, writer Mimi Zeiger explored if embracing nature is the key to a more fire-resilient Los Angeles. As many in the piece argue, we need to look at long-term solutions that work in concert with our natural surroundings, rather than against them.
Blanket and shortsighted fixes, like clear zones, can have detrimental long-term effects, including making cities hotter. Instead, we’re working with fellow designers and landscape architects to find solutions that are holistic.
